Retention Control

Brevo

Brevo, when marketing and transactional email need to live together.

If your order confirmations, shipping notices and marketing campaigns are scattered across three tools with three senders, Brevo consolidates them — one sending reputation, one template system, one report.

What we build on Brevo

Brevo, built properly.

Best where transactional volume is high and inconsistent branding or split sending reputation is costing you inbox placement.

  1. 01

    One sending identity

Marketing and transactional email authenticated on the same domain with a coherent reputation, instead of a marketing tool and a plugin sending as two strangers.

  2. 02

Transactional templates that look like the brand

Order, shipping and account emails designed to match the marketing templates — the most-opened mail you send, usually the least designed.

  3. 03

    Lifecycle automations

Welcome, cart, post-purchase, replenishment and win-back built on Brevo's automation builder against your store's order events.

  4. 04

    Segmentation and list hygiene

Attribute and behaviour segments, engagement-based suppression and the list health work that keeps placement steady.

  5. 05

    Campaigns and reporting

A monthly calendar, sends by segment, and revenue attributed per automation and campaign in your monthly report.

  6. 06

    Migration onto Brevo

Lists, consent and transactional templates moved together, with sending warmed so the confirmation emails never miss the inbox.

How we work

Six steps, six weeks to live, then monthly.

The process is the same on every platform; what changes is what we can build inside Brevo.

Week 1

We read your account before we touch it.

Where the revenue is leaking

Every flow, every campaign, list health, deliverability, segment logic and the revenue each piece attributes. You get the gaps ranked by money, not by opinion.

  1. 01Flow-by-flow revenue and send volume
  2. 02List capture, engagement and suppression health
  3. 03Deliverability: domains, complaint rate, inbox placement
  4. 04Segment logic against actual order data
  5. You get: A written audit with the first 90 days planned.

Week 2

RFM segments from your orders, and a calendar built around your peaks.

Segments and the calendar

Recency, frequency and monetary tiers from real order history; lifecycle stages; a campaign calendar that starts with your seasons, not a template.

  1. 01RFM and lifecycle segmentation
  2. 02Offer ladder by segment (who gets a discount, who never does)
  3. 03Send-time and frequency rules
  4. 04Campaign calendar for the next quarter
  5. You get: A strategy document your team can run without us.

Weeks 3–5

The core flows, written and designed for your brand.

Flows and templates

Welcome, browse and cart abandonment, post-purchase, replenishment, win-back and VIP — each with copy, design, timing and the split tests already planned.

  1. 01Copy and design per flow, on-brand
  2. 02Trigger, filter and timing logic checked against real orders
  3. 03Templates your team can reuse for campaigns
  4. 04SMS steps where they earn their place
  5. You get: Flows live, documented, with QA screenshots.

Week 6

Ramped sends, warmed domains, no spike.

Go-live without a deliverability hit

New flows go live in stages so engagement stays high and the sending reputation you have is protected. Campaigns start on the calendar from strategy.

  1. 01Staged rollout by segment
  2. 02Domain and IP warm-up if needed
  3. 03First campaigns on the new calendar
  4. 04Reporting dashboard set up
  5. You get: Everything running, with a baseline recorded.

Monthly

Subject lines, offers, timing and creative — one variable at a time.

A/B tests with a hypothesis

Every test has a written hypothesis and a minimum sample. Winners roll into the flows; losers are documented so nobody re-tests them.

  1. 01Subject line and preview text
  2. 02Offer type and depth by segment
  3. 03Send time and flow delays
  4. 04Design and layout variants
  5. You get: A test log with results and the next tests queued.

Monthly

One report: what each flow and campaign earned, and what changes next.

Revenue, not open rates

Attributed revenue by flow and campaign, list growth, repeat-purchase rate, email and SMS share of store revenue — and the plan for next month.

  1. 01Revenue by flow and campaign
  2. 02Repeat rate and LTV movement
  3. 03List and deliverability health
  4. 04Next month’s calendar and tests
  5. You get: A monthly report and a 30-minute review call.

Engagement options

Two tiers. The price is on the page.

Platform fees are billed to you directly by Brevo and stay in your name.

A 60-minute call with your account open: every flow, campaign and segment read, the gaps ranked by revenue, written up the same day.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

What is Brevo used for?

Brevo, formerly Sendinblue, is used for marketing email, SMS and transactional email from one account, with a built-in CRM. Ecommerce brands choose it when order confirmations, shipping notices and marketing emails need to share one sender reputation and one set of templates.

How much does Brevo cost?

Brevo prices mainly by the number of emails sent each month rather than by contacts, so a large list that sends infrequently can cost less than on a contact-based platform. Current prices are on Brevo's site and billed by Brevo directly; our fee is separate.

Is Brevo good for small businesses?

Often, yes. Volume-based pricing suits smaller brands with big lists and a modest send frequency, and keeping transactional and marketing email in one place keeps the setup simple. Brands that need deep behavioural segmentation on Shopify data usually do better on Klaviyo or Omnisend.

Why would we choose Brevo over Klaviyo?

Two reasons, usually: transactional volume that belongs on the same reputation as marketing, and price at larger list sizes. If deep catalogue logic matters more, Klaviyo is the better fit — the audit says which.

Can Brevo handle our transactional mail?

Yes, that is its strength. We set up the domain authentication, the templates and the routing so transactional and marketing mail share one identity without sharing a suppression list.

Do you build the transactional templates too?

Yes. Order confirmation, shipping, delivery and account emails, designed on brand — they have the highest open rates on the account and usually the least attention.

Is Brevo good for SMS?

It sends SMS, but where SMS is a primary channel we recommend Attentive or Klaviyo SMS. The audit is honest about it.

The other platforms

We work on all four.

Which one fits is a question the audit answers against your catalogue and list.

  1. 01

    Klaviyo

Best for Shopify catalogues where the product data does the work: predictive fields, catalogue blocks and order-based segments are where Klaviyo earns its price.

    Klaviyo
  2. 02

    Omnisend

Best where email and SMS should be planned together and the team wants one tool, one report and a simpler monthly bill.

    Omnisend
  3. 03

    Attentive

Best where SMS is the primary retention channel — high repeat frequency, restock-driven demand, or an audience that genuinely prefers text.

    Attentive

Let's talk email, SMS and the repeat revenue you actually want.

We work on Klaviyo, Omnisend, Brevo and Attentive. Ready when you are: talk to the person who will run your account, not a sales rep.
